Landfills Have Advantages And Disadvantages

One of the main advantages of landfills is that they are a relatively low-cost method of waste disposal. They can also generate electricity by capturing and burning the methane gas produced by the decomposition of organic waste.

However, landfills also have several disadvantages, including the potential for environmental contamination, the production of methane gas, and the eventual need for long-term maintenance and monitoring.
